Public transport and passes for event delegates

Rotterdam has an extensive and reliable public transport network operated by RET, including metro, tram and bus services. These connect the airport, train stations, hotels and event venues quickly and affordably. Passes & ticketing options
Rotterdam Convention Bureau can help you arrange discounted public transport passes in partnership with RET (Rotterdam’s transport operator). These passes are designed for large groups attending conferences or multi-day events.

Types of access
- Limited access - Suitable for events with predictable travel patterns.
   Cost calculated as: Price per round trip × number of delegates × number of days.
- Unlimited access - Ideal for multi-day conferences with flexible delegate travel.
   Cost calculated as: Price per day × number of delegates × number of days.

Delivery options
- QR code printed on delegate badges
- App-based (via RET API, ideal for multi-year events)
- Local production of transport-enabled badges (via meeting supply company)

Terms
- Minimum 750 tickets per peak day
- Unused tickets cannot be refunded (RET policy)

OV Pay – flexibility for your delegates

OVpay is the new way of checking in and out on public transport in the Netherlands. You can also easily check in and out at RET with your contactless debit card, credit card or mobile phone. You don't have to activate anything for this. You can immediately travel this way. For more information, check this RET webpage.

Parking for coaches

Rotterdam has several free parking places for coaches. They can be found in the city centre near Blaak, Boompjeskade, Mariniershof, Museumpark, Parkhaven and Willemsplein. Download the factsheet for more information about the parking areas.

Boat companies

If you truly want to experience Rotterdam, you’ll have to be on the water of the river Maas at least once during your stay. There are ample opportunities to do so.
