The Rotterdam City Card is ideal if you are staying in Rotterdam for 1, 2 or 3 days and arriving by car. Park for free at P+R Kralingse Zoom and continue your journey by public transport. The metro takes you to Beurs in Rotterdam city centre in less than 10 minutes.

From P+R Kralingse Zoom to Rotterdam city centre

In the car park, you’ll find the entrance to the metro station

P+R Kralingse Zoom is directly connected to Kralingse Zoom metro station. Metro lines A, B and C take you to the city centre and other parts of Rotterdam. Change at Beurs for other metro lines or continue by tram or bus. Metro line B even takes you all the way to Hoek van Holland and the beach. For travel by metro, tram and bus, use the green QR code on your travel card in the app.

How free parking works

1. Choose a Rotterdam City Card

Buy a valid 1, 2 or 3-day Rotterdam City Card including public transport. In the app, you will find the ‘Free parking in Rotterdam’ deal. This also contains the QR code you will need at the payment machine when leaving the car park.

2. Park at P+R Kralingse Zoom

Drive into the parking garage and keep the parking ticket you receive at the entrance.

3. Continue by public transport

Use the green QR code on your travel card and take metro A, B or C from Kralingse Zoom. Your City Card gives you unlimited travel on RET metro, tram and bus services.

4. Get your free parking

When you return to P+R Kralingse Zoom, go to the payment machine (Betaalautomaat). Scan your parking ticket and select 'Use discount card' on the machine. Then scan the QR code for the P+R Kralingse Zoom ‘Free parking in Rotterdam’ deal in the Rotterdam City Card app.

Your parking charge will be reduced to zero and you can leave using your parking ticket. The barrier may open automatically using number plate recognition. Keep your parking ticket until you have left the car park.
