Most shops in the city center are open from 10 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and Saturdays. On Friday, shops stay open until 9 PM. The Markthal is almost always open until 8 PM, on Fridays until 9 PM, and on Sundays until 6 PM. Rotterdam Tourist Information at Central Station is open daily until 6 PM. In December, extra late-night shopping evenings with Christmas bands and winter jazz bring a festive atmosphere to the city centre. If you’re travelling to Rotterdam by car, we recommend parking at one of the P+R locations and continuing your journey by public transport. This way you’ll avoid traffic in the city centre and arrive relaxed.
